Fingers
Fingers 4–1–2–3 on the A string, climbing 6 positions from the 5th to the 10th, in A major.
Each position gets four systems — the same four notes as half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes — and then one bar that shifts the first finger up a step into the next position. Every slur is half a bar long, so the bow keeps one speed while the notes underneath it double in pace.
